I’ve always felt that quitting alcohol (or drugs, or smoking) is part of a larger, more valiant effort to better ourselves and our lives. To create a more promising future — not only for ourselves but for those that love us. 

It’s not an easy undertaking – as we can ALL attest! But it is a worthy endeavor, no matter how daunting it might seem at first.

Thus, the lyrical and confident heart moving forward and upwards into the future. 

I also feel like the name of our community sets things in motion. Literally like a mind bomb going off (borrowing from THE THE and Matt Johnson!). The realization, whether creeping into us over several years, months, or weeks, that something has to change.

So we find our way here to this unique community and we either engage and start the work or we don’t. Or we start it and stop it and start it again. And again. And again. But either way, this community will leave an indelible mark on your soul. And I, for one, am grateful it’s here.

Now let’s push our love forward and discover the true destinies we were always designed to experience.
