Simple moments
Simple pleasures
What is your happy?
What do you treasure?
For me it’s a lie in
Or waking up slowly
A cup of tea made for me
Crisp winter weather
My children’s morning cuddles
Snuggled under the covers
It’s a chatty phone call
from my lovely mother
It’s a work meeting cancelled
on a too busy day
It’s feeling nervous
but doing it anyway
It’s remembering to care
And when my children both share
It’s a parking space
when I’ve minutes to spare
It’s chocolate
Galaxy preferably
Warm blankets, popcorn and a movie
It’s my cats playing together
and jumping around fast
It’s NOT the contents of my glass!
My happiness is still within me
it’s true
And alcohol free
it comes more into view
