The Naltrexone Option – Stop Drinking With the Sinclair Method
Read more: The Naltrexone Option – Stop Drinking With the Sinclair MethodI have been a problem drinker since my early 20s. To be excited about not drinking would have been laughable to me a few years ago! The idea of not drinking forever was not something that I’d have considered an option. I tried rules; cutting down, only drinking on weekends, taking a month off. Now…

Here is how it works – I found support that is all about connection, not direction. I let go of my excuses, accepted that I was strong, redefined self-care, and…

Does it Feel Like Maintaining Sobriety is Impossible?
Read more: Does it Feel Like Maintaining Sobriety is Impossible? This time last year, I was a broken human being. I know that sounds dramatic, but it is absolutely true. I was hanging on to my seventh job in two years by a thread. I had no friendships to speak of. I mostly ignored my preteen son, relying on my aunt to handle the vast…

“It was a random day of internet searching that brought me to Boozemusings Blog and to Boom Community, and my life has been changed by it. I needed some kind of “epiphany” for a mind change, and I have learned things about alcohol and its physical effects that have given me that kind of enlightenment. I check in several times a day and it is like meeting with my family. The resources here are incredible, and inexhaustible. I have quit lit books, etc. Will check out some of the other resources in others’ responses, but for me, Boom has been the answer. I feel it has to do with the tireless work of Boom’s creators. Thank you, Boom!!!!!!!”
