The Only Way Out is Through

When it’s all too hard
Don’t pick up that bottle or
You might forget
what you’re fighting for
Your efforts so far
could go to waste –
The Only Way out is Through

To really make a change
You have to be present
Don’t let booze lessen
Your true abilities
To face up to things
and cope admirably –
remember
The Only Way out is Through

Who cares what they think?
You know the truth here
Alcohol free
there’s no need to fear

Just keep on keeping on
do your best
You’re doing nothing wrong
Forget the rest

You know your capability
Where your focus should be
And though for some reason
it’s still a temptation,
to reach for booze
Your precious feelings
you could lose – because
The Only Way Out is Through

When things look like
they’re going wrong
Choose alcohol free and just carry on

The only way out is through

Do it best as an AF you! 🥊🥊
