Don’t Give Up

How do I stay strong
When I think I might be breaking?
Does alot of it come down
to the choices we’re making?

Are things as bad as they seem
Or magnified?

Don’t forget
Alcohol lies

Is everything really wrong with your life
Or are there a few things that are going alright?
Though your emotions can cut like a knife
Your life is worth the fight

Don’t give up
Things don’t stay the same
They always change

Good times will happen too
When you least expect it
Welcome happiness
Don’t reject it

And to really see it
When it’s in front of you
You have to be present
And feel it too

There is a chance for a happier,
brighter you
You can still win
So don’t let alcohol fool you
Into giving up or giving in
