It’s Wine o’ Clock Somewhere Right ?

A timely reminder to that I’m better off kicking booze out of my life.
It’s wine time somewhere in the world right
Someone’s wanting a relaxing night
Somewhere also though
Courtesy of too many happy hours becoming a habit
Or turning to booze ‘cos of feeling depressed
And they just have to have it
Someone is also taking their last breath
Nevermind all that upsetting talk
It’s happy hour right now for me or you
Onwards ever onwards you walk
To potential doom
That mixture has become a constant fixture in your life
And though it’s bottle is cool or pretty
It’s as lethal as a knife
Why does our brain not protect us from craving something that could kill us?
It’s insane
Perhaps the warning is there
When we take that first sip
It tastes wrong
But we choose not to care
And we’re dragged willingly along
Everyone’s doing it
So it must be ok
You say
But it’s still poison
So why be swayed?
Have a glass of liver failure
And a shot of cirrhosis
It’s ok
Have another and you won’t notice
Won’t stop to recognise the signs
That even one’s too much
And you aren’t immune to alcohol’s touch
It’s a carcinogenic toxin
So darling
However you play it
Really, long term
You ain’t gonna win
When are you gonna learn this
And are you ready to begin?
To really understand and see
All that alcohol free could be?
Why not open your eyes
Take off the alcohol industry’s blinkers
Join the BOOM drink rethinkers
And you’ll be able to identify
The big alcohol lie
Eventually
Feeling empowered
Not deprived
You’ll see it for what it is
And without it you’ll thrive! โค๐
If you are drinking too much too often Rethink the Drink .
