Chucking Out My Wine Time

Wine bottle in Recycling bin-chucking out my wine Time

Feeling a bit lost
Who am I now?
I have to keep it all together somehow

Right, okay
Time to paint on a face

Is my mask on straight?

It’s fine really,
funny even

I’ll be feeling okay again
this evening
When it’s me time

Kid’s in bed time
Down time
Wine time

I can hardly wait
No I mean it

This day is so long
I’ve just got to get through it

But am I wishing my life away
Just to drink that wine at the end of the day?

Do the small things really matter anyway?

Those little moments that will never be repeated?

The one’s drinking me can’t recall ?

I muse
Feeling defeated
I think they’re really what life’s all about
And I want to remember them

So I’ll chuck the wine out
